Far too young.

As for the retirement, I felt a bit bad for his team, and it was probably not a well thought out decision.....but part of me loves that. Mid-game, mid-day retirement, sounds awesome.

Only thing that makes sense is if they‘re not sold he’s going to be healthy for the majority of the contract.

True, coming off of the Achilles injury. They did say the Raiders wanted Penix at 13 so I guess if they wanted him that bad they had to take him at 8.
