Sarver is horrible, can't believe anyone would wanna fire a rookie head coach because the team sucked with a bad roster. Devin Booker is about to have his 5th head coach in his 5th season.

And that's exactly what I'm getting at when I said the Suns suck. Doesn't matter how much young talent they get in the draft. You'll never be able to build anything with that kind management turnover. You could let something like this slide if they were going out and hiring Rick Carlisle or some other big name coach. But Monty Williams? There's no direction here. They're just doing shit.

I’m not saying she is a liar, but I don’t see anything to say her story is or seems credible. All I see is her making a claim.

I also have suspicions of females who don’t make a criminal complaint but go straight for the lawsuit.

I don't mean "credible" in the sense that "Oh yeah, it totally happened". I mean that her story, timeline, presentation is credible in the sense that there's enough possibility here to be taken seriously and investigated. The entire MeToo movement is built on the premise of investigating credible claims and not dismissing them. Because the standard operating procedure use to be "She said what? Oh, no. He would never do that. Case closed" and nothing would happen beyond that. And then women would get shit on for even bringing it up which is why so many didn't even bother to raise the issue because it wasn't worth the hell and shame of it when the most likely outcome was it wasn't ever gonna be taken seriously.

Imo, the problem is speculation both ways.

There are those who automatically side with the accuser and assume guilt simply because an accusation was made.

However, there are also those who side with the accused simply because there have been accusations made that turned out to be false or, as you mention, simply because they like or are a fan of the accused.

Based on the timeline, which appears to be sometime between 2014 and 2016, I would think that the statute of limitations hasn't run out. So I do think it is fair to question why there doesn't appear to be a police report.

End of the day though, it would be nice if folks would wait for all of the information to come out before drawing conclusions about either side...but we know that ain't happening.

Correct. Almost always a he said, she said. It happens, but not often will there be another witness to a r*pe.

And in this case, since he was accused of assault and not actual r*pe, there isn't any physical evidence either making it even tougher.

Wasn't expecting Orlando or Brooklyn to win their series but after winning game 1, I thought both teams were good enough to 1 game at home and force a game 6

Why anyone would speculate on whether or not she is "credible" is beyond me.

We have no idea what really happened.

People need to stop guessing about what they think based off very limited information.

This type of speculation is the reason why the vast majority of sexual assaults still go unreported in America today. While I don't think you or anyone is necessarily doing it on purpose, people tend to doubt the victim's report anytime someone famous who they like is involved.

If someone close to you were sexually assaulted by a celebrity, what would you advise them to do? There is no right answer because every pathway either leads to unwanted scrutiny of the victim, or lack of accountability for the perpetrator. That should not be the case.

File a police report immediately. Questioned credibility increases the longer you wait. Unwanted scrutiny, I get that, but it's part of the process when you're dealing with someone famous imo.

Sweeping it under the rug, because you're afraid is a real issue, but unfortunately it seems to works in favor of the perpetrator more often than not.

I still say if he didn't already have a rough public image, Mike Tyson probably would not have been convicted of r*pe...on the point, if the young woman had waited a couple of years to report it, there's a good chance he would not have been found guilty.

Yep...the playoffs typically separate the true haves from the almost haves...I thought OKC/PORT would go longer for sure.

The last time the 1st round only had one series that went more than 5 games was 2003-2004.
