Pulisic is working his ass off, and his dribbling, and off the ball movement is top flight. His passes are a little off so far.

Arriola isn’t my favorite or the most poised or technical player but I’ll say this. You never have to worry about effort from him.

First half impressions

Pulisic makes this team go. He’s been sublime so far with his passing being somewhat excepted. He’s been a bit off the mark or misweighted some key passes that could’ve resulted in better chances.

Altidore is a nightmare for Mexico right now. He’s doing exactly what you want. But that miss... ugh.

The center backs have been much better than I expected so far, but Bradley is still helping a ton. Berhalter did the smart thing and told them not to fuck around with trying to play out of the back.


Morris has been a ghost. Only time I saw him do anything was nearly give away a goal.

Arriola isn’t great but you know he’ll work his ass off. He’s all over the field.
