But the people who actually know what they are talking about don’t have an audience.

Which is why people end up listening to idiots like Trump. And in some cases athletes.

Which is exactly why Steph Curry did that interview with Dr. Fauci. Basically using his celebrity to get people to listen to the experts.

Really? I have no trouble finding articles that doctors have written or been interviewed for or finding interviews with doctors on tv.

As I type this, there is a commercial, featuring a doctor and explaining how to keep yourself and others safe. In fact, there seem to be 2 or 3 versions of the commercial playing throughout the day.

Then, of course, there's the coronavirus.org website.

The info is out there and easily accessible. If folks are relying on politicians, athletes or Karen the anti-vaxxer on Facebook for their info, then that's on them.

Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of people seem to be listening to the doctors.

Are you suggesting that some doctor nobody has ever heard of has a comparable audience to Donald Trump?

While it shouldn’t be the case, what Trump says carries more weight to a lot of people than what they hear from doctors.
