Although (possibly) true. We also get on Trump for saying (rightfully so) some stupid shit at time. Joe Biden can't even form a coherent sentence. Trump would eat him alive in a debate right now as a result.

Right now im putting odds at 50/50 Biden stays in

Think we are looking at a brokered convention

Yes really.

The info is out there.

Are you suggesting that some doctor nobody has ever heard of has a comparable audience to Donald Trump?

While it shouldn’t be the case, what Trump says carries more weight to a lot of people than what they hear from doctors.

I'd assume that if I'm a person that's sick (or is likely sick) from COVID-19, that my first response is to seek medical attention. Last I checked, Trump doesn't have any type of education in that arena. And as trojan said, there's been a litany of articles and local commercials running detailing medical advice on how to prevent yourself and others from getting sick.

Quite possible. I wonder if Bernie says fuck it, I'm running independent (which just about assures Trump another term).

If you mean talk over someone, insult someone, speak total lies, or half truths, then yes, he will.
Elections basically come down to the voting results of the same handful of states.
If the voters in those states weigh their views of gun rights, abortion rights, etc over proper handling of this virus moving forward, then we'll all just all have to live (or die) with it.

Of course. That is all true.

But many people, including a few on here, have continuously downplayed the severity of this virus.

Trump has spoken out downplaying the severity multiple times. When the president speaks, people tend to listen because they assume he is well informed by experts.

Except, Trump is not well informed. Or at least his public comments are short sighted and don’t always reflect the information he has been given by the experts.

So while nobody is seeking Trump’s opinion if they are sick, millions of people are listening to, and following his lead when it comes to how they handle these times.

While I assume most have read up on Covid19 by now, that certainly was not the case a month ago. And many opinions in the country were shaped by Trump’s uneducated quips.

Watching any of the footage of his past rallies proves this.
Many, many people will just listen and accept as fact vs do basic research.
What % of Trump voters believed Obama was Muslim, for example?

Trump's greatest hits: covid-19 edition

-says N.Y. really doesn't need 40,000 ventilators, as of yesterday morning 39,000 cases & rising

-doesn't believe the governors when they say they need medical equipment

-said infected people would get better faster by going back to work & being around others

-takes zero responsibility for his own actions on how he's handled things

-of all people to ask for advice on battling this virus he called Alex Rodriguez (HOLY SHIT!)

are some sheep for Trump? sure....but most can wrap their head around the idea he has made some foolish comments

also some sheep who will buy any doom and gloom report they hear and/or any comment made that blames Trump in any way for anything.

same is true of doom and gloom numbers they hear regarding the virus.

We have a doctor here who goes on every daily presser for the Governor. Her numbers/comments are all over the place.

I'm going to hold local state government responsible on the first bolded. Cuomo needs to start locking his state down. You still have people in parks going about their business, not self-quarantining which is allowing this thing to spread and affect others.

Queens councilman calls for Astoria Park enforcement patrol after weekend footage reveals lack of social distancing - QNS.com

On the 2nd bolded, did he really say that?
