Someone in my office building in downtown SF tested positive last week. I've been working remotely

Not a option for me.

But, I'm seriously considering keeping my girls home the rest of the week.

They are 2 days away from Spring Break.

China took control right away.
The opposite happened in the US

China isn't reliable. They essentially lied about it being a problem initially which led to all of this to begin with. So they may or may not be truthful in saying they have it under control. But as I mentioned in the thread here about it, South Korea (who is reliable) took a very proactive approach and are starting to see declines. Their outbreak was like 6 to 7 weeks ago, took full control, and are now saying they are seeing some declines. So that could be an example of a timeline you're looking at with a fully coordinated detection/containment/treatment strategy. Ours (US) will be different though. We haven't been as proactive (yet) and its not like SK is fully cured yet either, just seeing declines. A couple of months would seem reasonable if everything works properly. Maybe mid-Summer or later if not

Yup. Just have to take out the 2 days off between games. Play every other day and the playoffs can start in mid May and still be done by mid July at the latest.
