Not sure why people think they can dictate the terms of your fandom.

You know how many Lakers fans there are that have never set foot in Los Angeles, let alone live there?

Gmafb

Do you.

you're absolutely right...

but hey, when you're a hypocrite and desperate for a card to pull, go with the traitor one...

#workseverytime:rolleyes2:

Exactly. Folks become fans of teams for all kinds of reasons and it's not necessarily always a team from their hometown.

Heck, if my families indoctrination had worked, I'd be a Suns fan. Unfortunately for them, the first game they ever took me to was against the Lakers in 1970.

I saw Wilt, The Logo and Gail Goodrich and have been a Lakers fan ever since.

I'm literally the only Lakers fan in my family. lol

your traitorousness knows no bounds.

so- an Ohio State football fan---- but a UNLV basketball fan.

cant even be loyal to one College let alone one city. Why does it not surprise me?

did you root for Russia in the Cold War too?

Your reading comprehension skills are obviously lacking. I've told you multiple times I was a Runnin' Rebels season ticket holder. In typical fashion though you choose to ignore that fact.

The defense will be amazing.

Honestly, it's been hit or miss, depending on the game.

Sometimes, on a quarter by quarter basis...lol

I've seen them lock teams down the last 5 mins of a game.

I've also seen them give up 40 plus pts a quarter.
while defense obviously matters a ton I think it gets overblown some (at least in those hit/miss examples you gave as to why). What I mean is this....one of our announcers (Austin Carr) will blame or credit the D on nearly every play. Make a 3? Bad D. Miss? Good D. We need to remember these are all very good players and sometimes they can hit when well defended and will also miss often when wide open.

Best part about Clips, though, is they do have a number of solid to exceptional defenders (like Kawhi, PG, Beverly, etc).

can you read?

i didnt ignore it at all.

I pointed out the fact of your disloyalty and traitor qualities for rooting for 2 different colleges- but as i said- it should not surprise me at this point.

You have zero credibility in the NBA threads. Everyone knows how much of a fool you are. I think it's hilarious that the teams I root for bother you so much.

I became an active sports fan about 1993. Weirdly enough, all of the teams I root for were all good back then. Then all my teams went to shit shortly after, lol. They've since come back around, but I can't imagine switching teams. That's just me. I know plenty of friends who have different allegiances despite growing up in the bay their entire lives. Except for Dodgers fans. You'll never see a dodger fan around here who great up in the Bay Area. We all have blind loyalty there in that we hate the Dodgers.

The only team I changed from was the Rams. I'd probably still be a Rams fan, but what that snake eating bitch who stole the team did to be able to move them was too much. Seahawks were already my 2nd favorite team, so it was an easy switch.

I feel for ya, my friend, as I cannot imagine if that happened here. Yes, it did, but we were promised another team before the old one was out the door.

so unfair to the fans

"I think" - No you don't.

Who's bothered? Only in your warped mind am I bothered because I responded to him. Crazy thinking. And have you yelled at anyone lately for no other reason than someone had the nerve to disagree with your nonstop gibberish?

It's fitting that you & wiggy are both from Cleveland. I bet you two are related. Both of you need to stop drinking directly outta Lake Erie. It's fucked your heads up.
