Supposedly, there is a real issue with his knee.

At least that was what was being said yesterday. Kawhi doesn't say shit and probably doesn't want the Clips saying anything either.

So, who knows? :noidea:
Oh, I believe he has a chronic knee problem.

But, he's sitting preplanned games.

This isn't him saying " Hey, I'm feeling a little knee soreness, tightness".

He's not.

They took out a calendar and said " 6 games in 12 days, nah."

I get it.

You say and do anything you can to sign Kawhi.

But, it's still lousy.

Makes me sick to think about. He doesn't have great athletic ability, isn't very quick for a guard.

He does have good court vision and nice release but his shot is pretty inconsistent and he is a volume shooter. The good thing for him is that he shot up to 6'7" and for a guard that freaking tall as shit...still only 165 though. Dude needs to move up to 10's for curls.
Well, maybe you will change your mind after you draft him next Summer.

I was just thinking about that after I posted this. FML. He can play small forward and get lit up by every SF in the league

True. He missed his first game last season in game six for the Raptors.

But he did miss both games in a back to back in LA and Utah in games 10 & 11.

But he was coming off a "significant injury" last season.

I dunno. Dumbass should've just stayed here and defended his title and nobody would've questioned anything he did.
I mean, Dude has the right to live where he wants.

I don't think he cares about the backslash.

If he did, he would be wearing purple and gold.

Yeah...

But, he couldn't guard a sf even if he was allowed to use a machete.

Even skinny ass Ingram would COOK that fool in the post.

I agree.

It's going to be interesting because if the Clippers are going to do this, they HAVE to win the title.

There was a little bit of questioning when he did this last year, but folks gave him a bit of a pass because he was coming off an injury that had kept him out for most of the previous season.

Then, of course, they won the title, so folks said it worked.

I expect that if the Clips don't win the title, there will be a lot of backlash.

Of course, as I think you pointed out earlier, if they do win the title, this load management stuff is going to get a lot worse.

wonderful...

man, injuries suck...

From the Athletic's Derek Bodner :

"As a member of the Heat, Josh Richardson suffered an AC sprain in Game 4 of the 2018 playoff series against the Sixers and played in Game 5. Kyrie Irving suffered one on Feb. 26, 2015, and missed two games, returning on March 3. Chris Paul suffered a grade 3 AC sprain on Jan. 3, 2014, and didn’t return until Feb. 9 that year, missing five weeks and 18 games."

Maybe people think he can be SG-A with horrible shot selection.

He's a 6'7 point guard.

People are going to geek on that.

Well that's what I was saying it seemed he was 6 4 or so last I saw

Have to agree to disagree on right now.

I'm not so sure about Lebron being washed if he continues to play 35 minutes per game. For one, he'll be doing his own load management later in the season. Also, they aren't real stressful minutes because he has a lot of help. Most of what he's doing is bringing the ball up and throwing it in to AD or giving it to a perimeter guy.

He played about the same number of minutes per year last year, but looked like he was having to work a lot harder.
Never doubted he could still be the Lebron from 2 years ago when playoffs roll around...guess we'll find out.

Why does he need to create an offense?

He knew where his strengths were and he also knew where he was weak. He constructed his staff with assistants who made up for his weaknesses and he trusted them to do their job.

Phil did not need to be a great X and O guy to be a great coach.

That is like knocking Kareem because he wasn’t a 3 point shooter. Kareem didn’t need to be a 3 point shooter to dominate.
Yeah, no, a 7-2 guy who didn't shoot 3s when much of his career existed without the 3 (or very few big guys taking them) is not the same as a HC not being a great Xs and Os guy.

That was an allitimer for you.
