the other night i had wagers on eric gordon and evan fournier bout over 17.5..........

Fournier-4-13, 1-6 from 3 point range 3-4 FT's for 12 points
Gordon- 6 for 20 , 0-10 from 3 poiint range, 3-5 FT's for 15 points

combined 10-33, 1 for 16 from 3 like wtf.....

The fact that that place has AlaskaGuy and this one doesn't makes it real easy for me.

Yes I know I can block him but his presence has consequences.

Posters like AG are a bit of a Catch-22 for a board like this.

He's a pain in the ass and causes a lot of trouble.

But he also creates a lot of responses, clicks, etc. which draws eyes to the site.

Plus, even though a lot of folks want him gone...a lot of others don't.

Ultimately, posters like him and handi virtually almost end up going too far. The trick is to get the clicks, etc. out of them and kick them to the curb before they do any real damage.

Likewise. A lot of the people I didn't care for on the PF forum are there. Outside of Shaqdaddy and CL67, everyone still post on this NBA forum here.

This may make SportsHoopla BETTER

Hopefully it'll all shake out to where both sites benefit. Between the folks who will inevitably pick this site, the ones that choose the other site and those who will post on both...it could make both sites really good.

That and I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be trying to move/replicate what we have going on right now with the playoff threads, etc. over there in the middle of the playoffs.

I think the problem for the Tribe isn’t that they likely won’t choose to pay Lindor, it is that they skimped on important parts of their roster while they had Lindor, JRam and a great pitching staff.

Small markets have to be willing to spend while their window is open.

It's even worse than you might think assuming you don't follow them closely. In a contending window, the Tribe has actually cut $44 mil off the payroll the last 2 season dropping from middle of pack near the bottom. Ownership is wasting arguably the top SPs, manager and FO in the game. Could have held onto Brantley and signed someone like Castellanos or Ozuna (who signed reasonable deals) to play LF and RF AND still shaved $10 mil off their 2018 payroll in 2020.

as you said...just a shame to do this in a contending window. and, yes, in their division with 2020 rules they still should make the playoffs and might have a shot but why not have a will to win?

Guy is definitely unlikeable and can be unstable, but if Gilbert bought the Tribe I'd like their chances the next 5-10 years.

I still do the occasional GPP in Fanduel and those 3 are so unpredictable. I rarely play any oe them.
