Great 1st day of games

Things seem to be pretty tight in most series.

Mitchell, Luka, FVV. special games

Hopefully todays games are as good

I was being half assed sarcastic, and obviously Harden is an elite shooter, scorer , etc.. MVP candidate every season.
Duncan has a limited skill set, but he making the effort to improve his game and I'm confident he will.

As far as clean looks, teams specifically try to take away Duncans 3's because for the most part that was all he had shown he has.
Harden can blow right by you, so teams often have to back off of him.

The scout on Harden is not to back off of him.

It is to stay up tight, force him to a side an funnel him to help. Avoid any contact and force either a contested step back or a mid range floater.

Look, Duncan probably is a better pure shooter than Harden. Probably. But I am telling you 100% for sure that Harden can hit 90+ 3s out of 100in a catch and shoot drill.

There are dozens of players in the league who can do that.

THIS YEAR. He's started 69 games in his career...he is far from an elite shooter. An elite shooter is my mind who casually is in the top 10 year in and year out for a sustained period of time. Do it for a couple seasons at least and then we are talking about an elite shooter.

Ok. But not an elite player like Harden. Apologies to Naked Gun but surely you know the opponent focuses their attention a little more on Harden than they might Duncan? That Duncan has a better chance than Harden to get open looks?
