Thought I posted, but guess I didn’t.

Ended up making two parlay bets.

Memphis straight with the over

Memphis +6.5 and the over

As long as Memphis covered and the over hit I was gonna make almost double my money........

had me sweating....

Bro I'm like 70 percent in the bubble. Told you take Memphis

Granted I haven't bet any actual.games since day 3 lol

The last week was pretty much garbage with like half the games. Without a home floor gonna be interesting in the playoffs

Imagine if Melo wasn't stubborn last year and Nurk doesn't get hurt. Solid chance Blazers beat Warriors IMO

Nah.

Warriors have always had their number. That series wasn’t particularly close.

i royally screwed up there. I had intentions of just firing at underdogs every game, instead i just totally laid off. I would won nicely, underdogs were HOT. Playoffs are gonna be tough. Some teams, like the lakers, where i dunno what to expect

Blazers had a 4th quarter lead in every game or a double digit lead in the 2nd half of every game lol. Thay series was very close. Having Nurk who is clearly their 3rd best player would have made a huge difference. Idk if they win that series but if Nurk plays then that is a 6 or 7 game series

Most had OKC over Portland in round 1 (including myself) because of no Nurk....thats how important he is to them

He completely deserves it.

The NBA built a bubble specifically with NO in mind and they urinated all over the opportunity

Gentry probably should have been fired last year but he's a nice guy and well liked so they held off on it. I have never been impressed at all with him as a head coach though. His teams consistently underdeliver. He's got a great rep as an assistant, but people should have figured out long ago he's just not head coach material

That NBA 1st round schedule is so fucking ass. Showed they don't care about fans.

Starting a playoffs game at 1/130 PM EST in the middle of the week while people are at work with no bars open is probably the stupidest decision made by the commish.
don't they have a limited number of courts to use? Guessing with no travel they also don't want to give as many days off. Gonna have to have some early games.

They did it just fine in the seeding games. You can get better ratings if you have 2 games starting an hour after each other at a later time instead of having the first game at 1 pm on a workday
Good point, but have to think they have their reasons...or not.

Seriously? Jon Diebler?

The Heat forward is putting together one of the greatest shooting seasons of all-time in his first full year in the league. Robinson is hitting 44.6 percent of his shots from behind the arc, but his accuracy alone doesn’t capture the impact of his shooting. What makes Robinson special is his accuracy on such immense volume. Of his 9.3 field goal attempts per game, 8.1 come from three-point range. It’s helped him compile a 67.4 true shooting percentage that ranks top-10 in the NBA and has him tied for the lead

Duncan in 2nd in the league to Harden in made 3’s. I didnt look, but I pretty much can guarantee his % isnt even close.
He's certainly better than Diebler as a pro as Diebler didn't really sniff the NBA. Not sure matters much what they did in college.

But I would guess Harden getting a little more attention might allow Duncan to get a better % of made 3s.

If Harden doesn't have a good look, he shouldn't be taking the shot.

Cmon man. You are better than this.

Some players are good enough that traditionally “bad shots” actually aren’t bad.

Sure, his 3 point percentage would be a lot better if he didn’t take so many step back off the dribble 3s, but he takes over 12 3s a game and has a true shooting percentage well over 60%.

If he waited for nothing but clean looks, he would rarely get to shoot because he is always the defensive focal point.

He is doing just fine with his shot selection.

I was being half assed sarcastic, and obviously Harden is an elite shooter, scorer , etc.. MVP candidate every season.
Duncan has a limited skill set, but he making the effort to improve his game and I'm confident he will.

As far as clean looks, teams specifically try to take away Duncans 3's because for the most part that was all he had shown he has.
Harden can blow right by you, so teams often have to back off of him.
