A 17 point lead in the first half of any NBA game is nothing

Wasn't it a 24 point lead at one point? If not my bad. Really didn't pay much attention to the game in the 1st half. Had in on it the background.

Really good back and forth game between Denver and Portland right now.

Gary Trent Jr probably been the best role/bench player in the bubble

Blazers now a half game behind Memphis. Next 3 games for Memphis come against OKC, TOR, and BOS

It was. Game of two opposite half's.
Heat got real sloppy, lost their rhythm and couldn’t regroup.
Its always next man up, but it really hurt not having Butler, Dragic in that situation, as they would have been primary ball handlers.

The effort being put out in some of these games reminds me of the sixers when they were tanking all those years.

The game didn't bother me much. They went toe to toe with the Bucks (who had all their players) without 2 of our top 3 players and Bam played poorly. I don't think this game did nothing to hurt their confidence for a possible playoffs matchup with the Bucks

Lakers got about a week to learn how to shoot or they're screwed

I agree. I know they're locked into the 1 seed but they should really try to focus on start playing better in the final 3 games instead of resting guys because whoever they play is going to already be in playoffs mode for 2 weeks. In a situation like this where there is no HCA, you don't have those first 2 games at home where you can start to turn the switch on and bank on your HCA to carry you to a 2-0 lead. Unless the Lakers magically get back to the team they were prior to covid-19, I think that 1st round series (assuming its Portland) is a long 6 or 7 game series and I'm not sure who win that.

Best thing about Portland is they have the size to match the Lakers size and knowing how Dame/CJ are, I think they can match and possibly even outscore AD/LBJ in a series. Long story short is the Lakers role players better wake up because Portland main 3 role players (Nurk, Trent Jr, and Melo) are all wide awake and playing well so far

Not to again harp on Kuzma but he's gotta have that kind of confidence when LeBron is in the game.

At least Danny Green made some shots as well.

A Lakers title likely comes down to some combination of Waiters, Green, KCP, and Kuzma finding their shot consistently.

LeBron hinted at some kind of off court issue with the team.

I agree the role players need to be better. But LeBron has been pretty bad since the bubble started. If he isn’t Superman the Lakers won’t win.
