You couldnt pay me to eat at a buffet. I would gladly pay more, for less, higher quality food. I worked in a kitchen at one of the local casinos when it opened. The Texas. The buffet kitchen was next door, and I would watch them cook food in giant vats. Slop it into trays, and stack them in racks. Shit just sits in the back all day, and people think its fresh when they bring the next tray out. :trash::nono::sherm::puke:

Good deal. Don't remember a place called the Texas. But you've been out there now, what is it, since the early 80's? So know casinos that I've never heard of.

Not a big fan of the summers out there. But I still miss th place. Especially Mount Charleston during the summer. At some point there's no doubt I'll return. But honestly that won't happen until my in-laws are gone. My wife likes living about 20 minutes away. Vegas would be too far for her.

Back in Fenuary Trump said the virus will go away in April when the weather gets warmer. Did you hear Spike Lee's new nickname for him? Agent Orange.
That's not new
I always liked Le Grande Orange which was Rusty Staub's nickname

Do the raiders games count as Strip?
I mean I guess. Its not technically on Las Vegas Blvd, but there will be pedestrian bridges and shit connecting it to the strip obviously. No doubt there will be some card slappers, and people black out drunk stumbling around, so I would say yes.

We go to knights games occasionally. Other than that, fuck the strip. Thats where other people pay my taxes for me.

Will the greedy casinos on the Strip still charge locals to use the parking deck?

I love it here. I cant imagine living anywhere else. The Texas was a local place, owned by station casinos, out in the Northwest, kind of, on rancho and lake mead.

The place is huge now. You might not recognize it.

Not much of a hockey fan. But the only hockey I've ever seen live were the Wranglers (?). Without looking it up I think that was the name of the Vegas minor league team. Went to a couple Area 51 games (Dodgers minor league right). Thought they had a good nickname for where they were located.

I do hate the dipshits pushing whatever bullshit they get paid to push.

I learned on the second go around to not wear a hat that has a sports team name because they use that as an in

Buy a golden knight shirt, or a UNLV one, and they ignore you.

So yesterday a friend was having lunch at a Cracker Barrel. There were 4 policeman there eating. My friend witnessed a middle aged black man walk up to them, take their ticket and buy their lunch. The policeman were surprised and thankful of course. I want to hear from people like that guy, there are more of them than people think. Good people that know not everyone is bad.

Who would understand being guilty by association more than Black People?

I'm not referring to you specifically.

But, people actually believing this guy is the exception, not the rule, is our biggest obstacle.

If your only experiences with Black People, Cops, Hispanics, Whites, Republicans, Muslims are negative, that perception becomes your reality.

People actually BELIEVE the majority of Blacks are anti-cop because of the few yahoos on TV screaming " defund the police!!! "

I hate that all this has happened. George Floyd would still be alive if not for the callousness of a few bad apples.

Now every Cop out there is under the microscope, all their everyday actions being watched closely in certain neighborhoods and they are paying the price for a few of their brethren.

But, guess what?

That's how Black People feel everyday.

Remeber the Las Vegas Locomotives of the UFL? I went to their first game. Fitting it was at Sam Boyd Stadium. Because the refs were dressed in red and black and looked like blackjack dealers from Sam Boyd. I couldn't stop laughing until half way through the first quarter. Must have been the weed.

I can understand why. Only pro team in town. I still keep in touch with friends back there. They tell me the same thing, games are exciting.

Will do. Not even joking

After you buy the UNLV gear make sure to walk up to a Metro cop and start harassing him. They love that shit. Right @Peter Gozintite?

Or here's another suggestion. Get some nevaaada-reeeeno gear. And walk around town talking shit about Jerry Tarkanian.
