I just wanna know when we can expect basketball.

I'm bummed about the Olympics.

But, there is only so much ESPN NBA Classic I can watch.

Although, Fox Sports Arizona played Kemp, Paytons Sonics vs Tom Chambers Suns yesterday.

Chambers was a savage.

My guess is in mid July for tuneup games/possible play in games then late July for the playofs.

I'm actually ok with everything. I somehow got used to no live sports much faster than I thought. If my team wasn't having a good season, I would have been perfectly fine with the season being canceled to show how ok I been without sports

YouTube has been my lifeline.

I have watched most of the USA boxing, basketball, track and field matches from the 84, 92, 96 Olympics.

No I never did any of that, I presented facts about safety and you presented your own more cautious ones. I think you are overly worried about things but then I said we all get to choose how worried to be. Not even trying to fight on this (for a change)

Have you seen anything about the draft, free agency?

I just think it's a recipe for disaster to do the draft like the NFL.

It can be a fools errand to judge guys based on tape.

I mean, it can go both ways.

Two of the sources also said the board of governors would also discuss whether the upcoming free-agency period should be moved ahead of the draft. Free agency for the 2020-21 season will be moved from the scheduled start of 6 p.m. June 30.

But a shipped package? What are the odds an infected person touched your package and a few virions got on there and stayed there for days and then you touched them and then your nose? ALMOST zero. I never said zero.

Also you can just wipe down every package you get.

Point I'm making is it's hard to live your life as if everything is dangerous because it's not, not even now. However, obviously you are free to do whatever you like here. Just stating facts.

I guess I can see folks who might worry about, say, a daily newspaper (yeah, I know, I might be among the last who read them) but have to agree about a package. Especially knowing how long many are taking to ship. Even those who think this will go on for a year or much longer aren't saying the virus stays on a surface more than a 2-3 days from what I've seen. and as you said, just wash your hands after handling.

For those that are unaware, you get same day, next day or two day shipments.

Guess how some of those deliveries are made?

UPS, FedEx, Postal Service, Uber, Lyft.

Do you know how Uber and Lyft works?

First person that accepts the delivery can come to the Amazon facility pick it up, drop it on your porch.

What if one of those folks is asymptomatic?

What if the worker that packed it is?

Me washing my hands as soon as I pick it up, lessens the chances of transmission.

But, the threat is still there.

But, I am so very happy that people on the NBA threads research things for themselves and don't take others word for things.

Like, I have been wrong on a few things covid related.

But, listening to you would be risking your health.

I try to differentiate between what I think and what is actually known to be fact.

You don't and that's dangerous.

I do get what you are saying and I probably do worry more than I should about some things. I'll wash my hands after handling the newspaper (might even put it away a couple days before readong in some cases), a package, etc. and, yes, some packages are delivered overnight. But does seem like many are taking 2-3 days (or even a lot longer depending what it is and from where). If it takes that long, package should be safe.....but, sure, if I can get the same thing from an area that had less infections/death then why wouldn't I? But I wouldn't avoid those areas and cross off the list.
