No Grealish received a card for dissent. Whistle was blown for simulation, but he got booked for dissent. Just fucking goofy.

It's still very early, of course, but with the way ManU, Chelsea, and Spurs have looked so far I think it's very reasonable to think someone like Leicester will break into the top 6 (and if everything goes well, maybe even crash the top 4) this season.

Yeah and it is pretty clear that once again this is a 2 team race.

Unless one of the top 2 managers leaves, next season is probably also a 2 team race.

It's sort of ironic, the pundits were talking about how things were likely to compact even more after Leicester made their unexpected run to the title because it gave the little clubs hope that with some smart signings they could contend for the title, but what we've actually seen is the opposite with the big clubs putting a gap on everyone else. Liverpool and City have just done it better than everyone else.

Meh. It goes that way. In the 80s it was all Liverpool. From around 92-04/5 it was all ManU and Arsenal. Then it was ManU and Chelsea. There hasn’t been real parity in the top English division since the 70s.

Yeah and I doubt it happens for a long term. Have to think it is just a better of time before ManU/Arsenal/Chelsea is back contending for titles

Liverpool just came back to earth. From 2010-2018, they finished in the top 4 only 3X.
