Karlsson concerns me a little bit. He doesn't have a long history of being super productive. Obviously he was outstanding last year, but he shot 23% which is outrageous. This year he came back down to earth, but still shot a very healthy 14%. In the two full NHL seasons prior he shot 6% and 8% (and had 4th liner numbers). Evolving Wild's contract project for him is 5 years, 6.5M. If you get last year's production (2017-18 is not sustainable), give or take a bit, for most of that contract, I'd be willing to give up good assets for him. But if he continues to regress back to what he was for the first 160 games of his career, that contract becomes a major problem; let alone what you give up for him.

I think I'd rather just target Miller and look elsewhere for a 2C. The risk with Karlsson is too high IMO.

I’m actually even less sold on Miller based on reviews of his advanced stats by others. But, just for fun, it’s there an amount and term at which you’d take Karlsson?

Yeah, the Sharks were pretty much toast once the injuries piled up to the key players. Blues are playing well and I think they take the Bruins to 7 games.

Anyone think we could trade for Evander Kane? Im sure the Sharks will be in rebuild mode because they are pretty old.Kane 7 million cap hit for 5 more years. Had 30 goals 56 points and brings toughness to a team who is lacking in that element.
