Where the heck did this steady offense come from? Im loving it!!

14-5-1 in our last 20 since that dreadful, six game, western conference (largely) road trip. Many of these games were against top teams too, even in their buildings.

The next four games all against Metro rivals are obviously critical, but if we defend home ice like we have all season, I like our chances here to challenge for the division title. We can't have anymore Montreal or NJ strolling into our building and slaughtering us. I hope that is all in the past and we've learned our lesson.

As far as simply making the playoffs, I'm not very worried. Too many critical injuries for the teams behind us in the standings and we are pulling away from them.

This is why they did the Braun trade early he not only adds more dmen bodies for the playoffs but helped them all season especially with the young players. Price you pay... I'd rather him than a washed up marleau at the deadline.

For better or worse neither acquisition was noticible last night. I would rather play Farabee as he can provide some offense to.
