Playing the last 20 games just trying to make playoffs is also a huge physical drain.. don't care how elite of an athlete you are... can't sustain that level of play to squeak into the playoffs, and then have to play a high seed with expectations of anything other than a first round exit.

Balance of January schedule is tough.... and they can't afford to lose ground.

This has been our pattern for the last 7-8 years.

I was hoping bringing in AV we would have a better balanced season. So far IMO the coaching staff has severely dropped the ball on creating depth for this team. There were way to many questions for them not to try and find some blue collar depth vets, instead we got Stewart and Pitlik, lol.

Stewart is only playing because of Patrick and Lindblom being out otherwise i dont think we see him. we do however need someone to step up and let the other teams know they will pay a price. The other night Gee got rag dolled in front of the net and punched in the face and nobody did anything. The game after they took a head shot at Prov and nobody did anything.

I know but injuries are inevitable, we could have done better at the depth chart then Stewart and Pitlik. Watch I think the 4th goal last night. Stewart is the last one seen striding into the play and I mean JVR striding. It's just a little frustrating to watch at times.

The Flyers suck on this road trip every year. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. It's unfortunate, but apparently "it is what it is".

If they're true to form, the real season starts after this trip. They turn it on and really start playing well. What's so promising about this season is that they're not 15 points out of a playoff spot when they get going this year.

I understand why they sent Frost down, he wasn't overly effective after the first few games. But IMO, they need another C that brings something to the table. Or they need to spread out the talent a little bit. Frost may get exposed a little defensively/physically, but he makes other teams think twice due to his offensive ability. There's just not much to get excited about with a bottom 6 of Raffl, Laughton, Farabee, Vorobyov, Stewart, Pitlick, and NAK. I like a lot of those guys individually, but I don't know that it's the best they Flyers can do, particularly on a 3rd line.

Frost being sent down i could see but i cant see Frost being sent down and replacing him in the line up with Stewart. Yes we need another center so what are our options? Do we make a trade? i haven't heard any rumors or do we just wait until we get home and play better.
