Barret Robbins goes missing
Barret Robbins had a career year in 2002, leading the Oakland Raiders all the way to Super Bowl XXXVII. But on the day of the big game, the Pro Bowl offensive lineman was a no-show, and his team would go on to get crushed 48-21 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was later revealed that Robbins, who had been diagnosed with depression while at TCU and would later be diagnosed with bipolar disorder, missed the game because he was partying in Tijuana the night before.
