It’s a start, the pit needs to make a return but in today’s Craig James society of pussies it would never happen

ILB is the spot where we really needed Honas. from watching the games, i think Young should be benched but without Honas, you have to go to Colin Miller which is still listed as OLB on one roster i saw, so not sure if he's ready.

very first play, Young paddy cakes with the TE and is late to the spot. shouldn't have been a TD.
jump to 1:18, what does Young even do on this play? Looks almost like he thinks he's a spy on the QB, but the TE fakes a block on him and then releases, i feel like Young should have stayed with him instead of watching the QB. i'm not an expert though.
like 2 plays later there are multiple running TDs where i just don't feel like he did very well.
then jump to 2:06, where is Young going on that play, seems like he should have been the one filling the big hole that the RB runs through and instead he's trying to take a hole outside Tre Neal (who took on the lead blocker) and thus Young takes himself out of the play.

while i was searching for some Young mistakes, i came across these two gems showing the deficiency of our OL. well, deficiency might be a little harsh, but just not a great cut attempt by a few. Also, i blame Martinez here, why doesn't he throw it? Morgan has a 4 yard cushion and then Martinez pulls it back. why? maybe because Morgan wasn't looking quite yet? the whole point of the play is the quick throw, he should know the spot Morgan will be and just let it rip.

also, that Purdue play is the one where Moore breaks some tackles and makes our D look like a laughing stock. How many guys you see in the clip (you can see all 11 purdue players)? 10! where is the 11th? Tre Neal is playing more than 20 yards off the ball out of the shot. Why? what good is that? seems like he should have been up around the X on the 35 which would have put him in a better position to make the play. (You can find the full play in the other video i posted around the 1:50 mark)
