Well of course you did, we took him in the 7th round of our mock this year! :suds:

Fam is great! Boy is about to turn 2. About to start tryin for our 2nd since we planned to have them 2-3 years apart. Wife is loving it better since we have a ton of close family living out here. We both had to pack up & "leave it all behind" when we moved out east to PA. Timing was right since we had both just finished up school.

Bandon Dunes is about a 8-9 hour drive from me. Never played there but looks immaculate! You'll have to let me know if you plan it! But if Teeth of the Dog was on the docket I'd probably choose that over B-D. For obvious reasons!

What about you man? How's the fam? Still doin upgrades on the casa?

Cool..."trying" is ALWAYS the fun part....lol

Good to hear the wife loves it...close family can help as long as they don't get "too close"...lol

I've played ocean front golf in the Carribean before, but never Teeth of the Dog so I'm on board with that locale. The handful of guys I know that have played B-D say weather can make or break the trip so timing makes a big difference, but it's awesome.

Life is great on this end as well...wife and I are celebrating our 30th today...kind of a low key affair at Longhorn steakhouse believe it or not.

But we spice it up towards the end of the week...Friday we fly out to Paris for a week. Neither of us have been to Europe so this is bucket list type stuff...I joked with her this morning, France just won the WC, The Tour De France is going on and The Open Golf Championship is going on (in Scotland)...no telling what we'll be flying into...lol Looking forward to it.

The Casa?...kinda sorta done...the grilling pad should be done this fall (in time for football season) and we're planning a nice get together

Hopefully he can make it all the way back...I'd like to have another quick twitch type WR in the fold that can take a 3 yd pass and turn it into 15 yds.
Eli Rogers could get sniped!

someone is gonna take him, hes a really good slot wr
He's a good player with good work ethic & fundamentals, but I wonder if he's simply a product of his QB? Look at some of the slot WRs that have came & gone through PIT in the last decade or longer. None of them have had problems getting immediate jobs elsewhere, but they never made much of an impact at all. Markus Wheaton (CHI) , Demarcus Ayers (NE/CHI), Justin Brown (BUF)...

Not rooting against him, but I doubt Rogers has much success with teams like KC, CLE or OAK.

I would call it passion. His work ethic was equal to Wheaton, but I wouldn't have called him more talented. Ayers & J-Brown were a little more raw.

There are plenty of reasons why Wheaton was a 3rd Rd pick & Rogers went undrafted. Wheaton was from a smaller PAC-12 school (OSU), whereas Rogers played in the ACC at Louisville. Rogers had a lot more scouts attending his games and would have proved himself a prime draft prospect if he were as talented as Wheaton.
