It's Akron. If the back-up doesn't get some PT then 6 wins seem completely out of the question.

I’m not saying the backup won’t play. I’m saying they will get less snaps than they typically would in a blowout-sort of game because everyone is new to the system and the starters need the reps.

After rereading, I may have misinterpreted...I thought @FNG was saying to split the game 50/50.

Ideally the back-ups will get the entire 4th Q against Akron.

They'll want to evaluate who practices well vs who plays a game well.

if they have a solid #1 guy then he'll play against Akron until he's no longer needed imo.

i kinda want Gebbia. but when i watched the spring game, what i really want to see is Martinez at QB with Ozigbo as the back, AM's speed on the outside with ozigbo's power on the dive option. throw in some RPO on that too with AM being able to hit a guy when DBs have to choose between coverage and tackling him.

Might be tough to get Ozigbo on the field with Bell, Bryant and now apparently Washington all looking good. Bell was the presumed #1 coming into camp, now Bryant is healthy, and it sounds like Washington is an athlete like we haven’t seen for a while at the RB position. More positions will get carries as well in this offense, so there will be WRs stealing touches.
