2018 Draft...way too early talk

we werent good enough to win last year, but we have no present needs? come on dude..........im done with this.........your basically saying lets be higher end but not good enough to win now, and hope we develop some guys for the future

So let me ask you, forget this draft happened. What is the plan when Ben retires? Landry Jones gets handed the keys to the team? Are you okay with being a .500 team for a few years while we rebuild this thing?

I would personally feel more confident in a future that doesn't include Landry Jones.

If the consensus is that we should be drafting for the NOW and not the FUTURE, every pick has been wrong so far. We needed a safety but not the one we drafted, we didn't need a WR yet we got one anyway, we didn't need a QB right now but we got one anyway, an OT in the last 3rd wasn't the right pick either.

Landry Jones is flawed and has proven he isn't an NFL starting QB. All I'm saying is we need a decent plan after Ben. Landry Jones and Josh Dobbs right now aren't decent plans. They are mediocre at best. I don't think we are a playoff team once Bell and Ben leave.

Because Landry Jones is the Plan B. That would be the ultimate settling scenario. If we didn't try to get someone better than Landry, we are settling for mediocrity until the FO gets it together and figure out that Landry is a career backup in the NFL.
