IDK about day one starters, but I think this is a fairly deep RB class also. 1st rounders? I think the LSU kid goes in the 1st round, but 2nd day for the rest...Michele imo has the potential to help a team early in a role like Kamara in NO...I'm sure his goal at the combine is to catch it and run routes better than they think he can.

As of right now, I'd say 1 RB in the first round. Everyone else mid to late 2nd and 3rd. But, the combines haven't happened yet so that will probably change lol

sua cravens can be had apparently
Too much baggage. He retired last year due to "personal issues". Don't trust the guy already. He just got reinstated after that and post-concussion syndrome. I'd stay away from him.

I would aim a little higher than Cravens as well.

I still think Colbert will draft an ILB, but interesting to hear his comments on the ILB class overall.

Colbert Doesn't See Many 'Impactful' Inside Linebackers In This Year's Draft Class - Steelers Depot

Could be a smoke screen, but it makes me think ILB might be the FA lean over FS.

If they make a move. A lot of people want to see them go after Hitchens...DAL most likely has to let him go and $3 to $4 mil per cap hit on a 4 yr deal is affordable and maybe fairmarket for him...$18-20 mil over 4 yrs.

We'll see.

Interesting. It's been a while since Colbert has used smoke screens, but then again having what looked to be "our guy" sniped 1-3 spots ahead of us 2 years running has got to be maddening. But if his words are true, then I think FS just shot to the top of our mock list.

i saw an article from a steelers site saying how we should be interested in him cant find it now. I think he plays all over the backfield, rotoworld lists him as a DB

Tyrann Mathieu Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com

look at defense

hes more FS, but does ss and cb
I would welcome Mathieu to the secondary. I don't think this solves the issue though. Certainly helps though. I'd still draft one in the 1st or 2nd.

Mathieu imo is really a slot defender that can tackle...not unlike Mike Hilton. As a backend defender, I would want more size. Like the talent...imo not the best fit in PIT.

More upside than Mitchell... But definitely only under a reworked figure

This can't bode well for Golden....I might be making a mistake, but I'm of the mindset that Mitchell is done in PIT already and Wilcox would be the vet voice in the DB meetings.

At this point both Golden & Dangerfield present a better case as a 'known commodity'. We saw maybe 2-3 games worth of part time action from Wilcox (maybe 1 start?). Each time it seems he injured himself. I don't know how they could feel confident about him. Not sure who out of that group presents the most upside. Seems like they desperately need new talent instead of searching from within.

So if I'm understanding this correctly we have picks in Rds: 1, 2, 3, 5, 5, 7, 7 ?

Also, just fun information, as it stands right now, the Browns have 6 picks in the first 65 picks.

Exactly...I would've imagined Golden being the transition vet...but I'm not sure he's the vocal guy you want in that role. Still, with them talking to Wilcox, makes you wonder where Golden fits.

While this runs against Tomlin's MO...the DB meeting room might not have Mitchell, Gay, Sensabaugh, or Golden in it....possibly no Wilcox.

I think we are going to see some fresh and hopefully better faces back there.
