I really liked Vaccaro comin out of Texas in 2013. I thought he had great potential. So far he hasn't been overly impressive though, overall he's been an erratic playmaker. He had 1 good year in 2015, but since then his seasons have been marred by suspension (PEDs, 4 games in 2016) and injuries (groin & wrist in 2017).Kenny Vaccaro 'on his way out' of New Orleans
New Orleans Times-Picayune's Larry Holder reports Saints DB Kenny Vaccaro is "likely on his way out" of New Orleans.
Vaccaro had his 2017 season ended early after being placed on injured reserve due to problems with his groin and wrist. The former first-round pick is now an unrestricted free agent and will likely sign a fairly big contract in free agency. The Cowboys were a team rumored to be interested in acquiring Vaccaro in the past
He'd still be an upgrade over Mitchell. I just don't like the idea of overpaying the guy based on 1 year of good play. If I were Colbert I would pursue Boston and if that fails then call Vaccaro's agent to get a feel for his value based on what other teams are offering.
