Rocket are giving minutes to some serious poo at this point.

I didnt know Nene was still in the league.

Greg Clark and James Nunnaly who the fuck are these guys?

Gordon is really good of course....Tucker is a good role player....after that it gets pretty dirty.

I mean i think Rivers is arguably their 4th best guy at this point.

how bad does Chriss have to suck to have dude named Gary Clark play ahead of him?

Gary Clark sounds like a fucking baseball player- not an NBA player.

But according to DJ, they should have been expected to beat the Lakers with that roster lol.

Lakers pretty clearly had the better team tonight 2-12.

I get Ball got hurt but up 9 with under 3 to go and up 7 with 1:12 left is a game you have to close the deal on

Houston needs to do soemthing

they have 3 players that are any good right noiw

Harden of course, Gordon and Tucker

The rest is just awful...Austin Rivers, Gerald Green, Nene, Clark, Nunnaly, Ennis?

thats fucking terrible.

They need like 2-3 guys really bad with CApela out for an extended period.

make a trade or something- use that first rounder.

Lakers do have a weird lineup though

they started Chandler and brought Mcgee off the bench but Chandler barely played.

I mean- Hart and Stephenson are actual NBA players that deserve minutes coming off the bench for the Lakers.

Zubac has been playing better- and i mean- the Rockets dont even have a center as far as i can tell besides Nene who is fucking ancient.

Im telling you- that Rockets roster really blows after 3 guys.....they need to make a move.

Nene started hjis career in 2002...lol, think about that.

they need a point guard bad

i mean- the league ahs tons of PGs too- youd think they could get one.

this team has their first rounder- they need to deal it in the worst way and get 2 guys that are fairly cheap but can each give them 20-25 minutes a game.

they gotta get the Cavs, Knicks, Bulls, Hawks, Suns on the phone and figure out who can give them a point guard and a big man and keep it cheap money wise......nobody special- just guys that deserve toplay real NBA minutes.

And my statement had absolutely nothing to do with ONLY Chris Paul being out. You do realize that?

Capela is avg 18 and 13 this year. You do realize that?

Capela is clearly their 2nd best player this year. You do realize that?

This week was the first time they played games without BOTH Paul and Capela this season. You do realize that?
Yeah....I also realize the comment that started this discussion between you and I was when you said this game was basically a tossup. Houston. At home.

When Houston came in as a 7 point fave....LOL.

say what you will about the Lakers- and they fucked up plenty building their roster over the last half decade---- mainly never getting a true stud (besides maybe Kuzma who can score at least)- but they do have a lot of guys that deserve NBA minutes on the roster- esp. when healthy.

Of course LeBron and Rondo are hurt- and of course each guy is a "real" NBA player

but they do have Ingram, Ball, Kuzma, Hart, Stephenson, McGee (i suppose), Stephenson, KCP who are all legit NBA players.

you can prob. argue either way on Beasley and Chandler at this point in their careers- prob no though.

I dunno about Zubac- thats a tough one, but the way he has been playing lately I suppose its a yes.

So counting Rondo and LeBron thats 11 guys that deserve NBA minutes. Id bet thats a pretty high number.

The Rockets? Right now--- You have Harden, Tucker and Gordon--- and Rivers I guess- thats prob. it in guys that are actual real NBA players that deserve minutes. Gerald Green and James Ennis- NAH.

I mean Warriors have how many guys? the Big 4 of course and Iggy, now Cousins, --- but after that? Looney maybe?

Clippers have what? 8 or 9 guys?

Sixers migt have less than that-- what? 7 arguably?

My Jazz need a SF in the worst way-- but they prob go 9 deep when healthy

Raptors prob. 9 when healthy

Celts 9 prob.

Nugz with Harris and Barton hurt have done some good work with a pretty shallow roster.

Vegas didn't have it as a tossup as you stated. They had the Rockets -7 primarily because they were at home.

Rivers played fucking 46 minutes?

how the hell does Rivers get 46 minutes in a week let alone a game?

Houston needs to go dumpster diving. Sounds like Faried is someone they are gonna go after--- and i mean - Faried is not a game changer- but at least you arent playing Gary Clark and James Nunnaly---

they need a guard too

Austin Rivers should not be playing 46 minutes unless it goes to 6 over times.

Austin Rivers is a solid NBA rotational player. This isn't 4 years ago

Yeah I agree. They should be fine and a serious threat to anyone not named Golden State in the West.

I'm not quite sure. I'm sort of on the boat with everyone that says Harden is gonna burn himself out. He's done that before with a smaller workload. This is the most he's ever had to do.

The amount of 3's Harden is attempted is ridiculous. That's not a winning formula. Will be interested to see if that goes down eventually.

It has been over a month since he took fewer than 11 in a game. There's been 8 games where he attempted 17 or more.

You would hope that when Paul comes back that changes thing and I think CP3 should be back very soon.

So he's close? I didn't know that. They need him back asap because if Harden keeps up this pace for much longer, I'm expecting a lot of games like Game 7 against the Warriors come playoff time.
