That said no he doesn't if anything he helps those other guys not get double teamed. With Looney out there defenders can sag off.

They really don't.

They dominated them earlier in GSW. Now they're going toe to toe with them without Lebron.

Playoffs Lebron and these other guys competing with Golden State the way they have done both times this year when they had close to a healthy roster is scary.

Unlike Cleveland last year, they can match up with the Warriors on defense and not be at an disadvantage.

You can go with Rondo/Ball, Ingram/KCP, Lebron/Lance, Kuz, and your Javele/Zubac when Cousins is in the game.

They have a good defensive lineup to match up with the Warriors at basically all times

Playoffs Lebron is good to give you 35 PPG in a series.

If you can get consistent offensive performances from Ingram and Kuz while the role players doing their job.

A Warriors/Lakers series can be real interesting.

question:

how are all the young Lakers players going to take being in the center of trade discussions? If you are Brandom Ingram or Lonzo Ball or Kuzma and are fighting for a playoff spot- but know that your team is actively shopping you, how do you perform?

keep in mind these guys arent long time NBA vets- but mostly pretty young players.

How do you, as a 23 year old player or whatever- balance the "its us against he world" mantra- while knowing if the Lakers could they would ship you out in half a second for Davis?

Interesting question. For these guys though, they know they're auditioning for their next team. Self pride is really the only thing they can hang their hat on at this point.

Also, not sure if it was discussed earlier in this thread or not. I like that AD's dad says he doesn't want his son playing for the Celtics given how they traded IT for Irving and cost him millions, while he played injured for them. Completely ignoring that the Celtics avoided a massive mistake in hindsight given how everything transpired. Would rather his dad just shut his dick sucker as we know he just wants to play with Lebron.
