Kyrie and Hayward should have stayed injured.
Yep, I think without Kyrie and Hayward the Celtics overachieved and got great coaching from Stevens. There is still plenty of talent and they should be fine by seasons end but at least 2-3 other teams in the East could beat them in the playoffs. This is another example of why you can't assume that adding more talent doesn't necessarily improve the team. The Celtics will get better but all the people saying that they were going to redefine the game this year were being a bit unrealistic.

If one of them make a big move at the trade deadline it could shift the advantage in that teams favor, but if the playoffs started today it'd be a battle between those 4. Will come down to which all stars show up, good coaching, and a little luck.I could absolutely see anyone one of the top 4 teams in the East(Raptors, Celtics, Sixers, Bucks) winning in the East. It will really depend on how their teams come together and what players they bring in. IMO, there is a 0% chance that the Celtics or the Sixers will stand pay with their current rosters.

Oladipo playing like an all star and a lot of good role players around him, I could see it happening. Even if the Pacers don't beat one of them they will put up a fight.Honestly,
Indiana does not have the star power, but they are right there. They are least likely to win the East, but I would not be shocked if they beat 1 or 2 of these teams in the playoffs.
They got him on a 1 year, 5 mil deal.Adding somebody like Howard certainly didn't help I'm sure.
I think they can make the playoffs.I know we're just 16 games in, basically just 20% of the season is gone, but I think the Spurs could be in trouble.
Didn't appear to help.Celtics finally benched Hayward today
Simmons with the quietest 19/11/9. Butler only took 9 shots, but winning cures all ills. Winning with 19 TO is pretty hard to do, but they are up there in FTA and holding opponents to low FG%.Sixers win in lackluster fashion tonight. But a win is a win.
Not to mention who those guys are.
Hayward was fantastic in the Utah system, but he is coming off a terrible injury and he is the type of player who thrives off of ball movement, coming off pin downs, etc.
Kyrie puts up great numbers, but he holds the ball and takes away from team flow.
I been saying this all along.
