Please post something, anything, from a semi-intelligent poster from the last 3 years that says anything other than Cleveland is the team to beat.

Because your post that got this conversation started said that every year most people were picking against Cleveland to win the East. And that is a flat out lie.

Even during the Collapse at the end of the Season, outside of maybe 2 posters, everyone picked the Cavs to come out of the East.

Yeah.

I still think Lonzo can have a Mike Conley type affect on a team.

He may never be a All-star because he won't have the numbers.

This is the Curry era. Everyone thinks scoring/ shooting defines
You as a player.

But, he can be the heart of a team.

He is getting better. I just don't know if it's quick enough to coincide with Lebron's age.

I hate how unfairly he's judged at times.

This is the player he's been his whole life.

Magic averaged 20ppg, 11apg and 7rpg. I don't see Lonzo ever getting there. But I could see him getting to 15-16ppg, 8-9apg and 7-8rpg, which would be really good.

But, as you point out, in today's NBA, that probably isn't enough to get him to many, if any, all star games.
