Nothing against Lowry, he's a very good player and underappreciated, but 2 things here:

1. Nash didn't deserve 2 MVPs, probably not even one. He stole at least one from Kobe.

2. The game is really different now, especially this year. Offensive numbers are way way up for everyone vs then.

Kobe probably deserved the second of those two but the Lakers were butt. Voters almost never give the MVP to players from shitty teams - Russ averaged a robust triple-double and a third of voters still thought he didn't deserve the MVP and his team finished higher than the Lakers did in 05-06.

Dirk could've taken it either of those years and been well-deserved, though.
