Ill guarantee you 9 out of 10 gm's would take the Mavs.

yah i agree...he has the leverage now...he prob knows the Cavs have no intention of having him be the long term answer at coach- they just want to have Drew get them through the year before they make wholesale changes this summer and many of the vets contracts are up.

Just bump is salary a couple million and call it a day.

I am intrigued by Avery Johnson though- but he couldnt just leave Bama in the middle of the year right?

and have one less win than the Lakers. lol

The Cavs had 4 awful years of building up the roster and their assets before LeBron came back. They added Kyrie, Tristan, the draft pick that ended up being traded for Kevin Love, Waiters, extra first rounders from Memphis, the Lakers. When LeBron came back they were ready to roll.

The Lakers had 5 years of suckitude before they signed LeBron and have soooo much less than the Cavs did when LeBron came back. But thats what happens when you have 3 #2 overall picks and dont hit big on any of them and/or refuse to trade them. Imagine if they dealt Ingram for George and took Tatum instead of Ball.

I might actually have something to worry about in regards to LeBron getting another title.
