I think PG should win it.

After all, he's doing what he's doing with Westbrook on his team. :dhd:

Also why he shouldn't though.

Saying PG is MVP now almost completely invalidates Russ' MVP 2 years ago, IMO. Because Russ is doing with Same thing with a better floor game and worse shooting.

I really hate MVP voting.

I think they should just let me pick who wins. Would anybody take issue with that?

That reminds me. Need to pick up some shatter at the collective today.

I stopped by my place yesterday & did some shopping. A mile higher mint 500 bar, elixir fruit punch (200 mg's) & 2 grams of shatter (banana kush & granddaddy purps).

Pretty sure James has a no trade clause so it's not even worth discussing....SMH. And I'm the FUCKING KING of hypothetical scenarios.
You're welcome.

Here is the breakdown for the LeBron James contract with the Los Angeles Lakers: $35.65M, $37.43M, $39.21M and $41M. He is not eligible for a no trade clause

Just went back and found the quotes. You basically shut him down as being a legit MVP candidate and said he was maybe a top 10 candidate at the moment when it was clear to most that he was top 5 at that point in late December.

Dang, Kobina Smushelle is so big.

* flips quarter to Justin @Cyder *

She looks just like you.

I'm assuming you mean she looks like her Mom and not me. Otherwise there'd be some "splainin" me and @LAD would have to do.

OK.

And he has improved by then.

I also have a much different defintion of candidate/contender.

If someone has no chance to win, they aren't a legit candidate, IMO.

Close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades.

And apparently MVP voting to some.

To take it a step further, I actually had this conversation with somebody last year pushing for either Kyrie or Jimmy Butler in the early season.

Anthony Davis and LeBron won't finish ahead of PG in voting. But both were better candidates to actually win back in December. Honestly, so was Russ because he has the triple double thing and a past MVP victory.

The season has played out enough that Davis is completely out, Russ is firmly behind PG and barring the Lakers finishing like 23-2, LeBron is out too. But back in deember, guys like them had a better chance to actually win it along with guys like Lillard, Kawhi, Etc.

But that ship has sailed for most, and admittedly PG has taken his game to even another level beyond what he was doing in December.

And he still won't win. But maybe now he has a legitimate chance at it with a repeat in 2020 after Giannis locks up MVP #1 this year.

He's top 3.

The Bucks would need to drop passed 3rd and the Thunder would need to finish top 2.

Giannis has such a big lead and has been consistent the entire Season.

He might only have a slight chance.

But, that's a bit different than no chance at all.

Semantics?

Maybe.

But, it's like last year's ROY race.

It was clear to many Simmons was going to win.

But, nobody was saying Spida had NO CHANCE, and he lost in a avalanche.

And this might be semantics too....

But, the reason why people weren't saying Mitchell had no chance was because of the controversy surrounding Simmons rookie status.

If not for that, I think a lot of people would have said Mitchell had no chance. At least I would have.
