I think Wall and CP3 are completey different situations though. With CP3 the Rockets would still have no money to play with and arguably could have a NBA title if he was healthy...Wall is the Wiz and he is pretty overrated imo. They both are injury prone so they have that in common, both are definitely overpaid but CP3 wouldnt be getting this money on a different team imo the Rockets had to pay him. Either pay it isnt hurting Houston other than on luxury tax.

Wall is worse.

But, he's also younger.

The reason I list Chris as a top 5 worst contract is, Houston is fucked if Paul has to sit playoff games.

They are supposed to be Contenders.

The Wiz are usually considered a 2nd round out, at best.

Different expectations is what makes Cp3's contract horrible.

4th and 10th separated by 6 games, throw in 11th/12th and it's 8.5 games. Nobody probably expects the Blazers or Rockets to miss and the Jazz have a favorable schedule so they should make it. Spurs are looking shaky and the Clippers traded their best player(best 2 players if you include Tobias). Could be a wild last month of the season.
