They didn't. They got Burks and 2 future #2s. They also traded Hood for Stauskas, Baldwin, and 2 future #2s.

They got the #1 by trading Burks, Stauskas, and Baldwin AND taking on Knight's contract (along with Chriss and a future 2nd).

Essentially they had to package Korver, Hood, and take on that Knight contract to get Chriss, a 1st rounder, and 3 future 2nds.

You can eat your own crow if you like, or share with your buddy dt.

BOOM.

That could be a nice move for OKC if Morris is healthy but neck injuries can be unpredictable and scary.

Stauskas and Baldwin were actually a DETRIMENT to the trade- as you can tell by Houston repackging them and adding cash to trade them to Indiana almost immediately.

Korver- traded for Burks and 2 2nd rounders---- and then Burks traded for a 1st and Knight is what it basically boils down to.

and Chriss - a 21 year old former #8 overall pick in his 3rd NBA sesaon- actually has looked pretty good lately and could end up being just further value the Cavs squeezed out of the trade.

pretty amazing if you ask me.

be nice if Houston keeps their spot around pick #22.....

Chriss reminds me of Tyrus Thomas so much. Just always want to believe there's more to him, but just always underwhelming. I think he ends up being a "potential" type of guy until he just gets too old to say it anymore.

it is why i do give Steph Curry credit.

RW, Durant and his cry baby attitude, Harden, LEBron, Kyrie, Kawhi, now Davis, Embiid cries all the time, Wall is a terrible teammate from all accounts (while he was a "super star"), Butler is a total asshole

how many super stars do you just get no drama from?

very very few. Steph- and thus far Giannis (but dude is only 24).

At first I was like this:

He is a little weasel with weak ankles that loves throwing his mouth guard - but he looks out for his franchise and that is a RARE thing for an NBA super star.

Then I was like this:

I thought we had a new superstar on our hands the way he played yesterday lol

We almost won the game we were trying to lose

Jeremy Lin had a nice debut last night for the Raps.

8 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds off the bench. Not bad.

Please find anything where I said Gilbert deserves no blame. In fact, I've said many times Gilbert is not blameless here.

I tell you over and over if you need comprehension assistance just ask.

Without a commitment from Lebron would be tough to give up a bunch of first rounders for PG, wouldn't it? Rhetorical...of course it would.

Then what exactly do you keep arguing about?

LeBron was never going to commit long term. He made that clear. That does not mean he wouldn't have resigned had Gilbert done everything LeBron wanted him to.

I never said this was all Gilbert's fault. But you keep asking what Gilbert did to piss LeBron off. I answered. LeBron cared nothing about the Cavs future. Obviously Gilbert did.

Oh yeah, that's understandable.
The show was just.....BRUTAL.

BUT, we rock with John Wick.

So, it's right in our wheelhouse.

Chayton Littlestone was a bigger villain than Rabbit or Proctor and he was humoungesly TERRYFYING.

MY favorite part about the show was the Job and Sugar banter....lol

Fivethirtyeight did a piece on how the Southeast Division is the worst division in NBA history. Every single team in it is terrible to barely meh this year. Someone's gonna win it with a losing record. Thank god they don't guarantee playoff spots to division winners anymore.
