Since we made it this far I pray to the high heaven LFC gets Porto. I would not like to see anyone else.

Only for the Quarters. As long as I've been following them, UEFA only draws one round at a time.

Winner of Spurs/City gets the winner of Juve/Ajax in the semis which obviously means the winner of Barca/United gets the winner of Porto/Livepool in the semis.

The best semi finals in terms of top teams would obviously be Juve vs City and Liverpool vs Barca

What's interesting is a game with Chelsea is right between the 2 legs so liverpool winning that first game comfortably would help

So from April 9th until April 20th, Man City and Tottenham will play 3X.

After the 2nd leg of their UCL QF, they will play a huge game in the EPL 4 days later

This draw is pretty bad as it gets for the EPL teams outside of Liverpool if they wanted to have 3 or all 4 make the semis.

You draw 2 of them against each other and you give United arguably the best team in the world lol. 2 of them are basically guaranteed to be eliminated.

Absolutely stunned Liverpool did not draw Juve

I'd argue that on current form, City got the easiest draw, Spurs have be atrocious the last month or so.

I don't think so. I've been following the CL closely for about 5 years and this is the first time I'm seeing them draw the Quarters and Semis at the same time. Maybe they've done it before I started following them closely, but not in the last 5 years.

Just looked back, they have done it in the past, but the last few years at least they drew the semis after the QF matches. They change formats sometimes, wouldn't surprise me if they changed it to have more control, they'll never convince me it's completely random, not with all the corruption in UEFA and FIFA in the past.

This way does set up some potential doozies for the final:

Liverpool v City
Liverpool v Juventus (bad history there, see Heysel)
Barca v Juve (Messi v Ronaldo)
Manchester Derby

I know it’s the quarterfinals an all but again screw this and put all your eggs in the premier league bucket. It sucks we don’t control our own destiny in that.

To be fair, you did control your destiny and blew a 10 point lead. But I agree, I think a PL title would mean more to Liverpool fans that a UCL.

Very true. Those draws absolutely killed us. Very disappointing but not surprising.
