Does anyone know how we'll be able to watch the games this season? Looks like there will be one game on TNT and the rest online with the Bleacher Report? Not sure if you have to pay for a season subscription, per game or what.
Bayern got an easy group but not the easiest. Porto group the easiest. Manchester United and Napoli and Inter Milan could be going home as they are in tough groups.
That sucks. Univision Deportes has games too. That is on my cable. Looks like I am going to be watching there and hearing a lot of GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Here is the link for TV:
Where to watch UEFA Champions League and Europa League on US TV and streaming - World Soccer Talk
Best groups imo
Yep. There is a chance there will only be 1 EPL tem standing after group stage
Is BR live similar to espn+? If it is, I'm not paying for it.
In other news, fox has done a hell of a job of losing a lot of soccer.
How do you lose FA Cup & Champions League in the same year?
Do the right thing and bring Champions league to ESPN or nbc sports
Ok, I'll bite....how?
I mean, you act like this can be done willy-nilly, so I'm genuinely interested how it can be done.
I mean whenever this tv contract is up.....
Considering this is the first year of the contract, you're going to be waiting a long time. IDK how long, but I'm guessing no less than 2 years/seasons.
That's fine. It's not the end of the world for me
Seems like it is a 3 year deal
Just wow. This will suck major balls:
Many of the most important Champions League games, including the semifinals and final, will still be broadcast on cable television. But starting next summer, more than 80 percent of the matches will only be available to fans who pay for the new subscription service
That’s right: Fox Sports’ eminently accessible strategy of consistently televising at least two Champions League matches every matchday, and allowing you to stream every other UCL match online just by logging into their website with your cable info if neither of the televised games tickle your fancy, has now been sliced all to hell.
That cable subscribers will only be able to watch 20 percent of the applicable Champions League matches on TV isn’t really the problem, since that was more or less the case with Fox’s coverage, too. The problem is that if you want to watch one of those other games, you’ll now have to pay a fee to stream them when before streaming came free—as it should—with your cable subscription. Not only does this make the cable-only option untenable as a way of following the UCL season, the over-the-top service by itself isn’t a satisfactory substitute, either.
While some teams get warmups against their D1-AA opponents ahhhhhmmmmm(United), we have the pleasure of seeing PSG.
So I can’t record any of these games? I’d have to just quit my job and stream them through some faggoty fubotv?
I fucking hate cable companies
Why can't you record the games on TBS?
Separate names with a comma.
