Blackwood did rebound after his own confidence issues. I would start him tomorrow night against the Leafs. Throw him right in against that offense and see how he responds.

That was embarrassing last night. Hynes needs to go immediately. He has lost the team, its getting worse not better.

Our top priority is to keep Hall at nearly all costs....

This is scary like regression, the team is bad but has good pieces here n there. It's mostly coaching and lineups IMO. How can two egregious players on defense continue to play game after game when another who makes a mistake here n there, no saint himself, gets glued to the sidelines....

no accountability, no fair environment.... oh mix that with HORRIBLE DEFENSIVE SYSTEM FROM DAY 1!!

Offensively, we don't play fast. We are lethargic and too many times, like Hall, goes off script and we get burn...

We're certainly limited skill wise in areas but this team is totally checked out. I'm willing to ride this into the ground.

Sell what you can, get a lottery pick (Hughes and Nico up the middle for a decade sounds pretty good), keep Hynes around until end of the year and then grab a guy like Coach Q, then actually spend this off-season.

Terrible loss. I would have started Blackwood from the beginning.
Also saw this article. They seem to think Hynes is going nowhere. I don't see him being fired (not that I agree)

One more thing is that the team really did not improve over the summer. Sure there was not much out there, but what is out on the ice is not a playoff team. They are no where close to TB or the Leafs or the Caps. I don't care who the coach is.

Ha, was going to say that. Hopefully he can gain some experience and get ready to be the guy moving forward.

I'm fully in the mindset of this season is a wash, let's put ourselves in the best position long term.

Need to really sell at deadline. Not our untouchables but certain guys got to go.
MoJo is just too fragile.
Shero needs to have a terrific trade deadline and FA summer in 2019.
