Seattle beats Portland 6-5 tonight, so the Chiefs will have home ice against the Winterhawks. The Chiefs made a pretty nice run over the last month of the season to overtake Portland.

I haven’t been paying enough attention to the Chiefs. The Canucks hanging around the playoff race longer than expected helped I guess.

The QMJHL is ranking it's top 50 players of all-time. Mario goes #1 I'm guessing?

Yeah the top 2 spots will likely goto Penguins with Mario and Sid getting #1 and #2 respectively.

Given that it appears to be based on their time in the Q and not their overall careers, I'm actually surprised that Alexander Daigle isn't much higher. I didn't follow the Q when he played but I remember their being tons of hype around him in his draft year, to the point that some suggested the Sens tanked to draft him.

A little surprised that Daigle was so low.

As for the top I don't think anyone touches Mario but I could see Lafontaine, P. Turgeon and Sid vying for 2nd.

I was hoping it was on SWX tonight. But I was reserved to following the updates on Twitter. I guess the Spokane winning magic ran out for today.
