Sad news from the Q. Alec Reid, an 18-year old forward from the Blainville Boisbriand Armada, has passed away.

Cause of death doesn't appear to have been released yet but it is believed to be related to epilepsy.

Armada confirm the tragic passing of 18 year old hockey player Alec Reid.

RIP young man.

holy smokes that guy covers the ice well.
leads half of the rushes, and is still first guy back.

whl.ca is a pretty good website (needs an upgrade though, feels a little early 2000ish), but it lists attendance for all games.

was a little disappointed on Friday in Langley, as the Giants game was a sell out
(my friend also tried to get tickets and couldn't). but there were maybe 15-20% empty seats

Seattle beats Portland 6-5 tonight, so the Chiefs will have home ice against the Winterhawks. The Chiefs made a pretty nice run over the last month of the season to overtake Portland.
