Loved every stinking minute of Hart's tending. He was simply phenominal tonight.

Just every factor of Canada's game tonight was spectacular.

Now to the softie side. There are not many times when i hear O'Canada that I just want to shed a few tears. Had to hold back and breathe when that was played.

Well, the boys really backed up the coaches talk, didn't they. Honestly, aside from Ingram letting in those two crappy goals early and a couple of PP's, Canada pretty much dominated that game from start to finish. Typical Swedish hockey. Dominate in round robin play against nobodies but when they face a real team and get hit a few times, they can't compete. They had 31 shots but most of them were from outside and on the PP. 17, I believe were in the first period. I agree that Sandstrom let in a couple of so-so goals but without him, I think this game is a blow-out. Great effort by our boys. Hope they can repeat that performance against the U.S.

Ya see I'd like to see a 7-6 Canada win, with 6 points each for Chabot and Colin White.

I'd like to see it go to overtime and nobody scores. Instead of the usual proceedings, both teams agree not to partake in the shootout and instead finish it off with NHL playoff rules. And I'd like to see it end on a goal with some skater's foot in the crease. And afterwards maybe an on ice celebration of some underagers drinking some pops.
