I cut the cord last month, and tennis majors are really the only thing I'll miss.

Anybody know any special sites for watching?

I'll look up my special site list later, but I've heard that it's easy to jailbreak a Fire Stick and then watch channels from that.

I don't have a Fire Stick so can't say I've done it.

well that was a sloppy win for Maria last night. So many unforced errors. She was hitting the ball hard as fuck and definitely overpowering Halep, but all those errors!

Fun night session for the first night. Usually these matches are not very competitive but play did not wrap up til after 2 AM last night. Maria and Halep went 3 while Zverev did not have the easiest straight set win. The first set alone took nearly 90 minutes

Donaldson overcame cramping to come back and win his match. At least he has fortitude. Sock might be ahead of him game wise but he folds too easily.

That's normal for her.

I was rooting for it to go more than 3 sets.

Serve it up: A food guide to the US Open

As much as I like trying food, I don't want to spend $16 for something at a sporting event.

The kind of food in this article is what I'd try when the meal is the star of the day/night.

Like when that's the big plan for the day.

When at a sporting event, I want something good but quick so I can get back to the game.

I go every other year or so and you there are plenty of choices that won't run you that much. Not going this year but will go next year when the new courts are completed replacing Louis Armstrong and the old grandstand. If they look anything like the new grandstand it's going to be beautiful

I saw him beat Chilic last year in Louis Armstrong. I was hoping he'd be able to put a run on for the open.

I wasn't hopeful. Dude been awful this year. Incredibly disappointing after his GS season last year.
