2017 Season Begins in One Week

Jacked up for yet another season in Alex Box. Look forward to seeing another great year of baseball and if LSU can pull out a world series despite poor head coaching and 3 major injuries before the first pitch has been thrown. Can't wait till Friday.

I think we were picked 2nd in the conference behind OSU and our preseason ranking has been all over the place. I think between 10-20. We have a good class coming in including Nick Quintana who was the Nevada Gatorade player of the year. He's supposed to be something special so I'm stoked.

LSU has a ton of youth. Two of 4 projected starters on the starting rotation are freshman, and 2 freshman were predicted to start the field before injuries. Off of talent alone at full health LSU is easily a top 5 team. Lange and Posche are the best 1/2 pitching combo in the country. LSU's bullpen is a concern like always though.

I could never get into college baseball because of the aluminum bats and a lot of the talent going straight to the minors out of high school.

He's 6-9 with 4 doubles, 5RBI and 4 runs in the first two games.

Yeah, I kenw he was pretty good.

But i figured when they signed Chatham and Dalbac that wasn't happening.

But I preferred Quintana to both.
