Yeah that was a nice way to end it.
Not only did Marte bail him out so did the poor defensive catching of Atlanta along with Jim Johnson trying to save the game.

One relief appearance is enough for me...I hope Leblanc doesn't last much longer. Bad enough we have to deal with Bastardo.

Obviously he sucks, but if he can come out of the pen and pitch 5 innings, he can be somewhat useful as Glasnow's caddy.

Yeah Leblanc wasn't bad tonight and in this case is fine. Bastardo on the other hand needs to go but at least they threw him out there tonight when it didn't matter.

Glasnow really needs to fix those control issues. The positive is that Williams looked very good the other day so if he needs to take a start from Glasnow I think we will be ok.

We have the same Pirate team we had last yr. They can't hit their way out of a paper bag.
Yesterday against Cincy had bases load with no out twice and could only muster one run and that was given to them.

Both their hitting and pitching sucks right now. Yeah if this goes long Hurdle will be replaced.
Wonder how far below .500 they get before we hear the McCutchen rumors again?

Even if we make the playoffs, we don't have him for the postseason due to the suspension. Unless Meadows steps up big to fill that void, there is basically no chance for a World Series this year.

Well guys our Pirates are back to their old self again. For the most part we just can't deliver key hits in many situations with runners in scoring position. Our pitching was good vs the Cardinals. Really sad a cardinal team that was 3 and 9 before they swept us.

Do we need a new manager or a new hitting coach. What is the problem with this team. We have talent or atleast on paper we do. This last lost really speaks volumes. Our pitcher gives up only 2 hits and we still lose. This a BS team.

Branson should be fired. They've underachieved under him, and he himself admitted he doesn't coach them to control their batted ball profiles, even though he absolutely should be.

Acquiring Ivan Nova was a really outstanding move. A Maddux tonight, and he's just been great in general.
