Its good, but its not over the top for a smaller guy (185). There were guys 40 pounds heavier running the same time. If he ran sub 4.4 then it would have moved him up.

Yeah but he is a dynamic open field player on the back 7 of your defense. Not to mention the elite special teams ability he carries as well. Just the fact that I would never have to see Roberts returning kicks again would be a great thing.

These guys agree with you. First source I have seen/heard that had him 1st round.

Mayock isn't Nostradamus but he is usually spot on, most of the time.

With Logan Ryan signing w Titans, I think we go CB at 21 for sure now.

Ohio State RB/WR Curtis Samuel received Percy Harvin and Randall Cobb comparisons from NFL scouts.

"Unique player," one said. "Physically tough. Playmaking ability." Samuel worked out with receivers at the NFL Combine, but spent most of his time in the backfield at Ohio State. One of his best traits is exiting the huddle in 11 personnel (one tight end, one running back) and motioning out to empty, producing favorable matchups. Samuel tested in the 64th percentile and will be just 21 years old in the NFL. He will be a second day selection. Mar 10 - 9:33 AM

Looks like a Darren Sproles clone.

DJ certainly will not save us. At best, he's a slot guy and that's where Nevin should be IMO.

Nevin Lawson will want to get paid next season, too. Prob won't be here this time next year.

A pipe dream is to have him step up and leave with a viable replacement on the roster. See if BQ can get comp picks going. Although he isn't scared to spend in FA. So he may always cancel the departures with new guys.

Reading how Matty reached out to Wagner and Tavon recruited Spence.

I do like that BQ loaded the bonuses for Spence and Cornhole as game day bonuses. Surely won't take practice lightly making sure to be active.

It's hard watching film trying to look for a good blocking TE in this class. Spread offense is a killer. Roberts kid from Toledo might be coachable. Noticed him watching Kareem Hunt film.

A shit ton of talented CB's in this draft. Wouldn't be surprised if we dipped in the pool once in the first 2 rounds.

Surprisingly, more mocks have us taking Taco. Thats the consensus so far. I am not buying it yet. We addressed DE is FA already. Not likely we would pay a guy millions and then draft the position in round 1.

But is the position fully staffed, or is there still a need for depth? I wouldn't be surprised if the first round selection was any position along the offensive or defensive lines to create competition and depth, making the lines strengths instead of question marks.

Quinn would. He's a good GM.
