Now, everybody and their frikin' brother wants to play for the Lakers. Durant just came out and stated he would not mind playing for the Showtime Lakers. Whether he is referring to the old Lakers or the new ones remains to be decided but now that LBJ, PG, and maybe Westbrook are all rumored to be headed to LA, Durant apparently may want to join the party. I say to Magic, stick to the new young guns and bring in one or two of these superstars. The superstars on the downside of their careers, I'd say, take a pass.

No need for Westbrook IMO, and really getting one of LBJ/Durant/PG along with snagging Nerlens Noel next summer would be plenty when added to the current roster. Lakers biggest needs will be at SG and C (both projected starters for 2017 will be free agents).
