For those that like the show & tell...
5'11" 182 & 6'0" 205... Love the physicality of both. Looks like they know both press & zone schemes. Good speed and field awareness.

Good job finding this.

Really like the way Sutton plays the ball in the air while still mirroring the WR down field...turns his head to play the ball...that will bode well at this level. Wish Cockrell had that skill set.

Love the physicality as well, several Troy like hits to take the legs out by both players...but would like to see more wrapping especially on a RB.

Hopefully one of these guys becomes a Steeler!

Those last 2 gifs are concerning... DBs that show any signs of shying away from tackling wont make it very far in the NFL.

True... That is concerning and would want to make you look at a lot more tape on him to see if that's his MO or isolated. At the same time, I think they can find some negative plays on every prospect.

According to Jon Ledyard, contributor to InsidethePylon.com and Scout.com, the Steelers also met with Derek Rivers, EDGE rusher from Youngstown state, and Isaac Rochell, DE/DT from Notre Dame.

Updated: 2/10/17

Villanova OLB, Austin Calitro (East/West Game)
Minnesota Safety, Damarius Travis (East/West Game)
Tennessee CB, Cameron Sutton (Senior Bowl)
North Carolina WR, Ryan Switzer (Senior Bowl)
Youngstown State OLB, Derek Rivers (Senior Bowl)
Notre Dame DE/DT, Isaac Rochell (Senior Bowl)

For highlight reels not already included in this thread:

Not seein much from this kid. Struggles to shed blocks, slow to get off the ball, doesn't maintain the point of attack with consistency, and very little gap awareness... Seems like a stat-padder in a lesser FCS division.

Walter Football has a 4 rd mock.

His latest Steeler picks

#30...Takkarist McKinley, OLB UCLA....worth noting he has Chris Harris going to KC

#62...Tre' Davious White, CB, LSU

#94...Kareem Hunt, RB Toledo

#125...Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU

From a position standpoint, IDT you can knock this mock much.

#30...now confirmed according to multiple sources that Tim Williams failed more than one pot test at Bama...can't risk a 1st rd pick on him...he is likely sliding into the 2nd rd. In his mock Walter had 4 QBs going in the 1st rd so I can see a player of this caliber being on the board...kid has good speed for the position.

#62...I like this pick, but there are some other options I like as well....some people think this kid has 1st rd talent...lot of value if they got him here.

#94...like the position at this spot. Have never seen this kid play. The RB from TN, Alvin Kamara has a skill set similar to DWill...Curtis Samuel from OH St should be on their board also.

#125...LSU had terrible QB play, I think this kid could have great upside...another option Noah Brown also from OH St.

Report: Steelers interested in bringing back Lawrence Timmons

Not surprised... We've known they would be interested. Just depends on the $. Tomlin's "first pup" probably isn't going anywhere

Steelers Re-sign Exclusive Rights Free Agent OLB Anthony Chickillo - Steelers Depot

Predictable move based on their recent activity it and clearly slammed the door behind J.Jones on the way out.

If they work it out with Timmons, I'm starting to think they will not sign a ILB but maybe double down on OLB.

Bets they don't make final roster cuts????
Lol the kid couldn't even make the Miami Dolphins practice squad. And that Miami defense was banged up all year long. He's camp fodder for sure!

Yea, undrafted and not making the dolphins.....came up a little short with dad's genes.
It's a nice feel good story, other than that it's one of those :minion:

He had a pretty solid college career in a lesser division. I remember this story last year about how the Steelers were interested in his services but he opted to go to Miami to "carve out his own role" away from his dad's shadow. And now here he is... lol. Gotta be a tad embarrassing, but hopefully he can show something.

And not only with his dad's shadow factor, Pittsburgh is know for LBs.....
So how much of a dent will the kid actually make????
It'll be something to watch, but I don't think it will amount to much at all!!!
