Do the Sox trade him along with Frazier, Quintana and Robertson, or do they keep Abreu as part of the team's core going forward? Slightly older, and certainly expensive and has trade value.

It's a good question. I think he's on the table as a trade piece, IMO.

I would definitely field offers for him, put it that way.

So, the White Sox leading the entire game until the 9th. When the Tigers get 2 runs to tie the game, against a closer who has been nearly unhittable to this point, and that is not luck... but the Sox IMMEDIATELY answering the bell with Melky hitting a bomb, and Avi tripling off of the wall to score Abreu (who murdered that staff again) IS lucky?

Cabrera, Kinsler, JD... One or two of those guys should net you all some good prospects at the break, kick start that rebuild. Perhaps time to think about dealing Verlander as well.
