I will watch and listen to see how the 1984 and 1948 seasons affect the outcome of the game. From reading this thread it appears the past must have a tremendous effect on current players and games. And 1984 and 1948 would seem to have the biggest pull.
Wouldn't it be great to find out how often Kluber thinks about the 1948 season when he pitches or how often the 1984 season crosses Miggy's mind when he comes to the plate...or even while he is playing first?

In what look like a mediocre to weak AL Central, I think the Twins could be a threat to the Indians, especially if they can land Yu Darvish.

if they do, they could be. For now though, that rotation is pretty iffy after Berrios and Santana (and even the latter is meh). Not to mention there's the whole Sano situation.

Part of the Twins threatening the Tribe would involve a step back by Cleveland....perhaps winning only in the low to mid 90 games range. If the Twins start the season with their current players, 85+ wins could be repeated. Darvish could push them to 90+.
