Detroit Tigers: WORST team in MLB. Verlander traded and NOT Cy Young winner as he predicted. Cabrera (another doug "hero") folded like wet cardboard. Fulmer not a Cy Young candidate as predicted either.

Detroit Lions: Missed playoffs. Stafford, just another overpaid QB...not MVP as doug stated.

Michigan Wolverines: 6th in BIG 10! SIXTH! Harbaugh is 9-7 in last 16 games. Jimbo could not develop a QB. The Bears may be his future. Doug's claim that Jimbo is coach of the year is WRONG.

Red Wings: I know he doesn't talk about them...but he uses their avatar. Looks like no playoffs this season either.

Harbaugh...9-7 in last 16 games. No Big 10 championships in 3 years. 1-5 against major rivals. NO TOP RECRUIT WANTS ANYTHING TO DO WITH HARBAUGH. Winning tops pride....pride doesn't put money in your pocket. Even an 18 year old knows that, dippy.

Good piece of trivia. I was curious so I did Boston sports. Don't have to go back as far, all 4 teams missed the playoffs in 2000. But that is the only year that happened and a culmination of the 90s, the only decade that a Boston sports team did not win a championship.

Yup and 2017 marked the 5th time that all 4 teams made the playoffs, joining 2013, 2009, 2004, and 2003.

Three out of those previous 4 years, at least one of those teams won it all. Patriots are the last chance for 2017.

Tom Brady: Born and raised in California. Spent 4 years in Ann Arbor, Michigan as a Wolverine football QB. Was only a starter as a junior and senior. Never made an All American team or All Big Ten team. Even in his senior year in 1999, Brady often platooned during games with Drew Henson (he was born and raised in Michigan - played with Lions). After Brady left the UM he has hardly looked back at the Wolverine football program. In fact, the plaque commemorating Brady at the stadium was placed inside one of the toilet stalls, where Brady spent a lot of time in his freshman and sophomore years, trying to understand the play book and studying physics (air pressure).
