(1 & 1a) Who cares ... the doug and iffy show is old (someone told me to ignore ... the thread has gotten better)

(2) I hate the White Sox ... they did an outstanding job ... makes for boring baseball right now, but ...

(3) I think Cabrera will have a rebound season next year and no one is taking that contract. I hope he realizes that this is his team and takes the youngsters under his wings. If not, eat the contract and trade him.

(4) As all good players do ... Norris, Boyd and Fulmer need good coaching. Verlander was a positive influence on them ... he will be missed. I like all the Tigers who were traded and wish them success ... I will root for them unless they are playing the Tigers.

(5) I'd like to argue with you, but I have no ammo.

Time to cut bait on Anibal...there HAS to be a younger pitcher, floating around baseball, that could do just as well as he could. Maybe some 28 year old AA pitcher or an ex-Mexican league starter....Start collecting resumes. It will only be for 3-4 more starts.

For a while, it looked like JV was gonna get the same kind of run support the Tigers usually give him.

When you have a minute can you explain the Tribe's current W/L record, 13 game win streak, and apparent division title.....in the light of your prediction that said they would stumble after losing GM 7. I believe you also said they would ''sink to the bottom''. Can you explain how you come to these predictions?

BTW....you also said you would bet that Detroit would reach 90 wins this season. I won't go too hard on you about that...I thought they could win 80-82. hahahaha
